prayer points + off milk

don’t really know what the off milk is about bec, but along with bec’s message (below) i’ll add that this week contains the 7th of the month. AND the 7th falls on our off milk day… (i hope i’m making sense)…
simply, the 7th is the wednesday this week, so if you’re gonna hang out at home this week or head out with other youngads for social gatherings…here are the prayer points that the church put out on sunday for the 7th:

- That we will all continue to grow as a “people of prayer”;

- That we will grow in our capacity to love our neighbours and that we’ll see the Kingdom come among them;

- Giving thanks for answered prayer – For our new Lead [Pastor];

– That the [Pastor's] family will continue to know;

– God’s leading and His privision as they prepare to relocate;

– Our growing childrens ministry (and Narelle!) ands pray for more leaders;

– That bridges of friendship will be formed at Terry’s Tucker, enabling people to experience
God’s love;

Hope this can inspire your quiet time tomorrow.

Cat cha sunday!

PS: On a completely casual note: what are your all time favourite party songs (especially for dancing).

  1. Dancing? Well “Don’t feel like Dancing” by the ScissorSsisters even gets me dancing… so there’s one for you.

  2. OKAY, so the deal is this Wednesday night there’s no official small group… and since nothing else has been organized as of yet I’ve executivly decided that there is an open invitation for everyone to come and relax at my house (Laura’s)…

    Feel free to come at 7:30pm for chai tea, yummy dessert, turkish delight, chill music, candle light… (in short a relaxing time)….

    …we’ll be praying too!

    So come around… if you don’t know my address email me at laura_beimers*at*kastanet*dot*org or message me… I don’t want the address up on the website that’s all.

  3. Songs to dance to:

    Dr Pressure, Mylo
    All night long, Lionel Ritchie (so bad its good)
    Prisoner of Society, The Living End (Lyrics tho?)
    Hitchin a ride, Greenday (how can you not enjoy this!)
    Basket Case, Greenday (its time you kids learned to skank)
    Bring the Funk, Ben Harper (for something different)
    Gay bar, Electric Six (I’m not serious)

    About the only song I really care about on this list is Dr Pressure. The next two are great too. What kind of dancing are you thinking of Jess?

  4. ahhh…free dance…. do what you want, what feels good?
    I love to dance and I’m pretty sure anyone who has seen me dance wouldn’t know how to classify exactly HOW i move…so free dance, but to fast beats generally.
