WHAT’S ON: wed 25 april

Finally we’re getting a guest speaker!
I spoke to the guy Iz and I have wanted to come and speak the other day and he said he’d been thinking about coming for the 25th too! So sounds like it was meant to be!
If you missed youngads on the 18th chat to someone who was there to fill you in or you can ask Iz or myself. i hope you all have our contact details! i had to stop myself just now from popping it down in this post! better not! but leave a comment if you want to chat to Iz or I about it.
What was discussed is something that is going to have to be discussed again anyway as there wasn’t that many people there!(sounds like i’m being terribly ambiguous and vague, ey?!)

this week

hi guys! been a while since we’ve had youngads but we’re back again this week. looking forward to seeing you all and talking about what happened at soul survivor for those who went but also talking about US (as in the group)! hope to see you all there. no encouraging someone this week due to the late notice.

tonight at youngads

Well tonight can be summed up with one word… “Labyrinth”…
we’re doing something a little different. It being organized by me (LAURA)… candles are a guarentee! Tonight involves journeying a labyrinth to reflect our journey with God.

doing terry’s…..

this week + TERRYS!!!!

this week at youngads john will be doing a session with us ALSO Ryan will be doing his testimony AND we’ll be encouraging our favourite ANALISE.

DON’T FORGET youngads is on terrys this week so please come early if you can. it would be great if you could please comment as to when you will be able to come on wednesday ie: to prepare food (3pm-6pm), to serve and clean up (and eat) (6-7.15pm), or regular time (7.30pm). even if you’ve already told jess or iz please comment incase we forget!

IN ADDITION, hopefully we will have a group of YITSERS joining us to prepare the food, serve and eat with us and stay for youngads.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, Soul Survivor is coming up in LESS THAN A MONTH and it would be great to see you all there! it runs from wednesday night 11th april - sunday night 15th april (includes all days and nights in between). we’ll be camping and it will be heaps of fun!

this week

sorry ’bout the late notice guys but heres the details of tomorrow night:
i won’t be around coz its my dads birthday but Iz will be running the show with Bec and Geoff.
B and G will be talking a bit (not exactly how much of a ‘bit’) about what happened at the forge summit which was….(thinking of another word except ‘awesome’…) a-m-a-z-i-n-g .

and keep in mind that NEXT wednesday we are doing terry’s so please come early if you can (3.30pm) and all hands on deck from 6pm.

prayer points + off milk

don’t really know what the off milk is about bec, but along with bec’s message (below) i’ll add that this week contains the 7th of the month. AND the 7th falls on our off milk day… (i hope i’m making sense)…
simply, the 7th is the wednesday this week, so if you’re gonna hang out at home this week or head out with other youngads for social gatherings…here are the prayer points that the church put out on sunday for the 7th:

- That we will all continue to grow as a “people of prayer”;

- That we will grow in our capacity to love our neighbours and that we’ll see the Kingdom come among them;

- Giving thanks for answered prayer - For our new Lead [Pastor];

- That the [Pastor's] family will continue to know;

- God’s leading and His privision as they prepare to relocate;

- Our growing childrens ministry (and Narelle!) ands pray for more leaders;

- That bridges of friendship will be formed at Terry’s Tucker, enabling people to experience
God’s love;

Hope this can inspire your quiet time tomorrow.
